I. Acceptance of Terms*
Sioux Sales Company reserves the right to accept or reject any and all purchase orders. Sioux Sales, further reserves the right to limit or deny the use of promotions to customers, including, but not limited to, the right to refuse free shipping and other promotions to unauthorized resellers and unauthorized redistributors. Sioux Sales reserves the right to update these Terms of Sale at any time without notice to you. II. Place of Sale*
Sioux Sales reserves the right to accept or reject any and all purchase orders, regardless of the manner in which the order is made. Orders become valid, and the sale shall be deemed made in Sioux City, Iowa, subject to the terms set forth herein, when accepted by Sioux Sales, in Sioux City, Iowa. All sales are subject to the laws of the State of Iowa, and the venue for all disputes shall be in the courts of Iowa. No change, modification, or revision of your order shall be valid unless agreed to in writing by Sioux Sales. Any terms and conditions set forth in the buyer's purchase order shall not materially alter terms and conditions set forth herein.
III. Restrictions on the Purchase or Possession of Specific Products*
A. Law Enforcement Items. Sioux Sales restricts the sale of selected products such as, but not limited to, embroidered apparel, badges, nameplates, insignia, emblems, and collar pins that identify the holder or wearer as a member of any law enforcement agency or other agency-specific titles. Orders for such products must be shipped to an approved agency address. If shipping to an address other than the approved agency, the department's letterhead must be provided with a copy of official identification. Submitting a purchase order for products that are subject to any legal restrictions, affirms Sioux Sales that the purchaser is authorized to make such purchase, and is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws concerning same. Sioux Sales may verify employment of any person ordering such items.
B. Assisted and Auto-Opening Knives. Federal regulations restrict the sale of automatic knives to anyone other than United States Military, Federal Law Enforcement, Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue and EMT personnel with acceptance of the "Auto Knife Opening Acknowledgment Form". Sioux Sales complies with various state laws restricting the sale of products to specific states.
C. Body Armor. Sioux Sales restricts the sale of body armor and related products (including, but not limited to, concealment body armor, tactical body armor, ballistic plates, ballistic shields, and ballistic helmets) to public safety professionals, members of the United States military and/or corporate and private security officers. Orders for such products must be shipped to an approved agency or corporate address. If shipping to an address other than the approved agency, appropriate documentation must be provided. Sioux Sales reserves the right to refuse or deny the sale of body armor and related products to any individual who is unable to provide appropriate documentation.
IV. Restrictions on the Purchase
Sioux Sales reserves the right to reject, cancel or to make further inquiry into any order, which it believes implicates the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Further, the United States Government restricts the sale of certain products to international destinations in which Sioux Sales must obtain an export license prior to order processing. Sioux Sales will only process purchase orders made in within the continental United States.
